5 budget-friendly countries to visit from India

5 budget-friendly countries to visit from India

If you love traveling but your pocket not allowing you, don't worry a low budget pocket friendly trip is just what you need always.

However, it can be a difficult task for an Indian traveller to plan a budget-friendly trip, as Indian Rupee INR is not as powerful as compared to many tourism popular foreign countries.

Therefore, to start off you can start with some budget-friendly countries to visit from India, places where both your wanderlust and budget would be the highlight of your travel.

01 Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is the first country in my list.

It is one of the cheapest countries to travel for Indians due to the distance.

SRI Lanka is in the neighborhood of india and  famous for its lovely coastal areas, it is also very welcoming towards Indian travellers.

Sri Lanka has beaches all around its coastline and is famous for being one of the most loved islands in the world.

Whether you want to indulge in adventure activities, or are in a mood for a romantic vacation, you will be spoilt for choice in Sri Lanka.

02 Nepal

Nepal

If you desperately want to go for a trip, and your budget is low, start with Nepal.

Nepal is budget-friendly and is also an amazing backpacking experience.

If your trip is well-planned, your 7-day backpacking trip to Nepal from India should cost less than $200.

Nepal is the home to many of the world’s highest mountain ranges.

Nepal is culturally rich and offers a new perspective to travel. Temple of Nepal offers rich and vast experience of history also.

03 The Maldives

The Maldives is one of the favourite destinations for Indian travellers. If you plan your travel well before time, you will not end up spending extra money.

Resort to backpacking, opt for homestays and guest houses to keep your daily budget in control also, to get around, you can take the public ferries; however, make sure you check their timetables, as they don’t operate every day of the week.

04 Vietnam

Vietnam is hands down one of the best south-east Asian countries to go for a backpacking trip.

Vietnam is also one of the cheapest countries to travel from India.

Vietnam have  beautiful beaches, scenic landscapes, amazing street food, modern history, and many limestone caves that you can visit when in Vietnam.

Adding to this if you want to cut short your budget further, you can opt to visit the place during the off-season.

05 Myanmar

Indians can visit this place via road too. All you have to do is reach Imphal, Manipur’s capital city.

Doing this, you need to get to Guwahati either by plane or train, and then proceed further.

It also ranks among the best backpacking destinations in South-east Asia.

Since it’s less explored as compared to its South-east Asian counterparts, such as Cambodia, Vietnam , and Thailand, there are chances that it will be less crowded also.
